I don’t mean this offensively but that’s just ignorance.

The English geographic county borders have been continuous over a thousand years of history.

Just because you have wrongly assumed something doesn’t make it a fact.

I’ll leave it there now because this is clogging up the forum.

Read the legislation, read the actual sources, read the continually stated government position. And please do actually read the website links.

Both Nuneaton and Sutton Coldfield are in Warwickshire and despite the result I enjoyed a contest Derby today.
