As long as NTFC remain at the Oval, while progressing their Planning ambitions & a return to Nuneaton, the existing business model will remain in place.

If/when a return to Nuneaton is achieved, the income streams will be boosted.

Staying at Level 8/Step 4 is a must while playing at the Oval.

An alternative business model would be to convert the current CIC (limited by guarantee) to a CIC limited by shareholding but I can understand the Board's reluctance to go along that route.

The problem with a CIC (limited by guarantee) is that it is difficult to raise equity/capital.

Edit:

The Club are trying to achieve a good balance between raising funds to support the teambuilding while also raising funds (ring-fenced) to support their Planning Application.

They have successfully achieved that aim over the past two seasons & gained two promotions from the County leagues in the process but this season is proving to be a much greater challenge.
