High scoring game for me, 2-2 i've gone for, bet on 3-2 to either side and 3-3 given the odds as I feel Croatia will play football, leaving them easier to break down and for us to create more chances, but also seeing as only kept one clean sheet I can't see Croatia not scoring, especially given their midfield is IMO one of the best attacking mids in the world.

There biggest strength is there attacking midfield . There biggest weakness is their vulnerability to set pieces which is probably our biggest strength .

What ever the result tonight,Southgate has took his England team where angels fear to tread.
Venables,Hoddle, wally with the brolly,Taylor ,the swede,Allardyce bought nothing to England only old guard youth and boring tactics.

What happens tonight win or lose England and Southgate will carry their heads high.
Not predicting the outcome tonight ,but no matter who they play it will take a very good team to beat us,not sure if Croatia will measure up.

It’s coming home.

For me we should win if we carry on as before. I think our players will be magnificent tonight.

However the Gods of football may/probably will eliminate England, through their players not getting sent off but our players getting sent off when not justified.
Fucked up use of the VAR against England, blatant England goal disallowed etc etc. shit biased ref.

C'mon England!

Point i've made before is why should we win tonight? If you look at our games this World Cup, we struggled to beat Tunisia, smashed Panama(as expected), lost to Belgium but that is irrelevant as neither team wanted to win, narrowly beat Columbia on penalties(so drew with them over 120 minutes of football) and beat Sweden 2-0.

We beat Sweden mainly because we were superior at set pieces, but look how many clear cut chances Sweden had when Pickford saved us.. how many outfield chances did we actually create other than Sterling fucking up the 1 v 1?

I am not being negative here just realistic, we need to improve tonight to beat Croatia, who themselves haven't looked like world beaters I admit, but they will be the toughest game we have played and I feel they will be more clinical than previous teams so we must take our chances when they come to us.

England have not been turned over by any team.
Should have been out of sight by halftime, this young side have been a match for every side they have played.

Getting to the semi final first time in twenty eight years is a magnificent achievement perhaps last night they didn’t play that well ,the signs are there,Southgate right man for job, players right men for job,and of course Southgate has players to add to this squad ,especially the injured ones left behind.
England got to semi on merit.
One amongst us recons we only got past Sweden because of the quality of saves by Pickford, load of tosh,England far the better side .
Missed chances cost us last night ,Croatia hardened experienced team ,but no way better than us.

Bring on the Euros ,will see even better from England

I have watched England all the way at this World Cup ,lost just once ,perhaps a stroke of genius from Southgate.

You tell me who you consider a better team in this World Cup than England ,I can’t think of one.
Pickford against Sweden didn’t save us ,he did what he is there to do ,make saves,England had other chances apart from the two they took.
Against all the teams England have faced ,England have been the better side.

England won’t see this as tough, more a case winning and getting the final Sunday.
This is the best England team for years ,and deserved place tonight.

So far so good.
Ash Young needs to get a grip .
England pretty dominant ,too many casual passes back to keeper.
Needs 100% concentration and another goal.

It says in today's Daily Telegraph that the last 2 world cups 2010 and 2014 were won by the country where Pep Guadiola was coaching. Spain 2010( Barcelona) 2014 Germany( Bayern Munich). Can he make it a hat-trick in 2018?

They want the ball more than us,they don’t have to chase ,England will give it them.
Fortunately we are still in it ....just.
Hope we can get to extra time ,regroup and turn the heat up.this is not the England team we have all seen get this far.
