First have Boro competed but never really created where as they did

This half Boro been better team all round and Mitchell just equalised

Brackley immediately make two subs having rested players

I felt the same, but the referee was closer and had a better view.

Cant see why it was a red. I am struggling to see why it was a foul. Suppose if ref thought a foul (ball won with excessive force and out of control) then it had to be a red.

Even in 2018 football, not a sending off for me

Whilst filmed from one end, I do think it shows that whilst I believe Boro' competed first half they had loads of chances.

Nice to hear the 2nd half music again :)

Brackley did have a few chances but i felt rarely looked like scoring . I felt you couldn't fault the effort of the Boro lads yesterday , they all pretty well gave it 100% . To be fair thinking back over the season so far they have in every game i've seen bar one and in that they more gave up well beaten that day . I actually came away yesterday proud of their efforts .

Always thought Wilkin didn’t know a good player when he saw one, signed almost the ones he new from Boro.
The six he’s told might be a mistake ,don’t think Brackley will win the league with what he has got.
Boro should have a look and see what’s available.

Wilkin always done well with a small squad; you could argue quality over quantity.

Struggled 1st season in national with so many signings and decisions to be made.
Also, IMO, similar at Wrexham when they probably had 20 players who felt they should be playing.

Never saw that result.

Boro competed, and if you do that you have a chance.

As for red!!!! (I know I frustrate Unnamed Source) I always try and see it from the referees perspective, but I could not see that today.
To me, it did not look like Addison was not in control and neither did his feet seem high. "I got the ball" is not an excuse now, but it does come into the factor.

PS
Why do managers think they are Pep Guardiola with the resouces to chop and change and give players rest - win the game, then rest them.

I wasn't there, and don't know who Addison is so I cannot comment on the red. I do protest about objectifying me as a Ref hater though.

(Like you) I have done plenty of refereeing and coaching over many years. ( A fact that those who have a go at me, if I ever dare criticise officials, conveniently ignore). I also played a bit before being crocked (fair tackle) by a knee injury. So I see all sides. A great ref can create a great game. A lazy one can destroy one.

Boro O.B. v a Boro B Team in a replay next week . Should be a thriller. Massive Away contingent to travel, huge home turnout=big moneyspinner.

Oh Damn. I woke up. We are still bottom of the League and on the Abyss. With the likelihood of lucrative Prize money to buy us a new mower about as realistic as Messi joining us on loan.

Don’t understand that at all.

IF we are to go down, it’d be nice and good to have a cup run so we can take something positive from the season.

It also would generate some interest back in the club, which in turn could provide additional revenue to be able to sign better players to help us stay up.

I watched the Everton game last Sunday and the ref pulled a West Ham player up for what I thought was a great tackle. One of the commentators said that the referee can call a foul if he believes the tackle, although fair, was made with excessive force. That is the only reason I could see for today’s sending off.

Brackley have more quality than us we know that , but not a bad performance .
Never stopped battling . Defence hung in there somehow and in the end we probably deserved the draw . Big plus point was Baker , for all Brackleys quality they had no one who could match him . Some other decent performances from Addison , Richards & Devon Kelly . I felt it was all round the best i've seen from us this season .
Felt Addison's sending off was very harsh , even the Brackley players looked surprised .

The surprise of the Brackley players told it's own story i felt. None raced towards him as is the norm with an out of control, reckless lunge. Mind you, were talking about a ref who early in the 2nd half gave a free kick when a Brackley player trod on the ball & toppled over!! Even the Brackley fans near me were chuckling at the decision.

Competed well second half & deserved a replay i felt. Could even have nicked it with far post header late on from (i think) Addison.

Been a while since i've been in the social club. Is that the only place to get a tea/pie now or did i miss something?

TV's all turned off, seemed very run down.

I agree with majority of others in as much as I felt Shane Benjamin offered far more than McGurk. More aggression and skill, he even beat Gaz Dean in the air on one occasion.

Not 100 % sure who was at fault for Brackley's goal but Cam pulled off a spectacular save in the second half to deny them a second.

As far as tv in the bar is concerned, I understand these have been fixed and now waiting for link to external source , this should be completed this week.
