The FTTT team were delighted to be contacted for our assistance by Mike Berry, publisher and editor of the renowned football magazine, Backpass.

This months edition carries a fascinating interview with David Pleat detailing how he started his managerial career at the Boro.

David also talks in detail about signing Kirk Stephens, a player he subsequently signed for Luton Town.

Incidentally David was also aware of, and heaped praise on, the FTTT project in a recent radio interview.

Mike Berry from Backpass magazine was also delighted that our research enabled him to relive games that he had played against the Boro for several non-league clubs.

We were also able to help Mike with details of the classic encounter away at Bedworth in February 1982 that drew a crowd of over 5,000 on a Tuesday night.

Finally, an overview of our project is also included in the article.

If you would like to order a copy of the latest Backpass magazine full details are shown in photo’s on our Facebook page.
