Well done Nick, You have tried to steady the ship but it's all going "tits up" to excuse the phrase.

Let's talk to The Griff on a ground share next season as we are going down...Is that an idea? Please comment

Massively out of his depth. No football business acumen. Still thinks hes one of the 'ladz' and makes himself look like a massive prick with his constant social media bantz and biting at digs. Stop trying to be one of the boys, stop trying to be popular, stop trying to get media attention and adulation and try to do your job. Shambles.

We have a ten year lease at LW, and Griff are not in a position to agree to share.
It is an idea, but not a viable one.

How would moving into a council owned athletics track possibly help , even if it was a possibility . If the club did start to pick up again i very much doubt we could ever get back to LW & the facilities at the Pingles would allow us to make very little progress up the leagues .

It's probably good enough for Southern League Premier/Midlands, which is arguably what we are.

We keep striving for Conf National success, and every time we have it, we go to shit.

Perhaps we should stop aiming so high and start being what we are?

Unambitious? Perhaps. Realistic? Yes. Stable? Yes.

Brighton and Hove Albion used to play at an athletics stadium....Where are they now?

Capacity at the Griff 6000 + seating 250+ ...More than enough for when/if we get relegated.

Council owned? Is that any worse than who owns LW?

Then what happens after that . Surly our long term ambition isn't to plunge down the leagues until we reach a league where our grounds good enough then just stay there . We should try and hold onto LW as long as possible as there no viable alternative imo .

Many clubs have lost ground and struggled to get back.
It’s harder now than in days of dartford and Maidstone

You need a sympathetic council for starters

Look at Wealdstone, worcester, Kettering.

If Boro leave liberty way - like you I see no way back

In other words........

And the white is behind the black and green preventing a shot at the red.

I suppose if Boro move from LW (how does the ten year lease fit in) and in years to come they wanted better the I suppose we could approach the new owners/residents of LW for a ground share (or even buy out with a ground share). What could possibly go wrong ;)

Might be a bit difficult to move back into someone’s back garden and I’m not sure the pitch dimensions would be right :))

I don’t think a share with griff is actually a possibility.

What would be our league below that?

I don’t believe it’s a given they would accept us (and hate to think of a league lower than feeder to central)

I was looking the other day.
I had assumed that, but this does not look less local than Southern-Central.
At least Boxing day game more predictable
