No owner, no money, yet we sign a player who was on loan and presumably most of, if not all his wages being paid by Kiddy during his loan, we now have to pay the player ourselves so should we see this as a good sign that investors may have been found???

I'm actually felling marginally more positive at present . Just a hunch but i feel for Hawk to walk away the way he did both he and Jimmy must have been confident these investors could be found .

Yes, but will soften the blow.
theoretically he could play for Boro from nothing and not be worse off........ but would you? (assuming other offers). He may feel boro the club for him next season.

I'm really not sure we are normally not meant to pay for loanees.

I mean, I'm fairly sure we dont pay for them, just not convinced we are not meant to ...

I took it as a good sign that despite everything that's going on a player who's been with us for the last month so has seen it first hand still wanted to sign for us .

Agree . Actions speak louder than words . Couldn't see another player signing for us tbh.
