Boro have conceded possession and let the have it (no complaints)
In some ways a matter of time but the hope would be it would run out

When you have nothing up front opponents are always in the game and inevitable they will score eventually, can’t fault the players for effort today but again caught out by two lapses in concentration, it is what it is no point complaining as nothing else JG and DB can do at the minute

Felt for 80 mins we were competent today . Little in it against a side third in the table . Never looked a threat upfront and rode our luck at times but much better than last week . Then our inability to defend headers and to get the ball away reared their ugly heads yet again and another defeat .

Yes an improvement on last week's shambles, but still nowhere near good enough to win the game.
Relegation just a matter of time now - around mid-March I think. Relegated after Blyth away or Darlington at home?

Looking forward to next season already though, could be exciting times in the Southern Premier Central!

As I said, always felt it was a matter of time; just hoped the game would run out.

Whilst Boro had some half chances they always looked in control. Perhaps it was too easy for them as they seemed to lack urgency.
Felt if either team scored too early they would run out easy winners.

Second half it was very much a back 5, with a midfield 4 saying "come on; break us down"

No complaints over tactics given the situation.

Must say, the Boro No 10 impressed a lot today.

Match was a non event for me, we never really looked like scoring. Crowd looked really low despite all the fee tickets given out.
Interesting that Hawkins in the bar saying he will continue to fund the club to the tune of £1000 per month and also stump up for purchasiing food kiosk stock up front -£600 per match he said -(seems a lot!)

I asked him, he said there is a fee paid to club to sell from kiosk and he keeps any profit.

Happy to be corrected though, of course.

If I understood his answer to me, he pays the club a fee to run kiosks and keeps the profits.

So he isn't doing it for the benefit of the club...Is this part of the £1000 a month contribution to the club?....What's the name of the lady who runs the food kiosk btw?

He is doing it for the benefit of the club . Running the food outlet actually can actually cost the club money, more than it makes . Any surplus food left over today would have been thrown away or wasted and this has allready been bought and paid for . This includes burgers , milk etc it cannot be kept from week to week .

So NS says we lose money by outsourcing the kiosks and you want him back running the club, but NH says it costs the club to not franchise the kiosks, and you want him to be the fans rep ...

I cannot see how both are right.

NH has offered to take the hit on the kiosk. They are both right , none of it works .unless the club covers the costs . So NH will cover that cost .

But NS said the club would make money by taking the kiosks in house, NH says it will lose money.
They cannot both be right.

Someone has to be wrong on this one.
Who covered the costs of fitting the kitchens out?
I find it hard to believe the kiosks can not be run at a profit.

Just about every sports club of a size that attracts support , even if it's only 50 fans provides food & drinks . Hard to imagine it doesn't make a profit or why would they .
