Recalled by Port Vale. Shame. Will be player of the year I would expect.

He is used to heavy defeats so should recover well.

Cant remember a player being "withdrawn"

Been told Boro will have squad of 12 for BsC final and that includes two who are injured.

Surely if we can't muster a team we would be allowed to sign players wouldn't we?

Was told the B-Fa was going to be sympathetic - not to do could be embarrassing all round

My guess is one or two who have featured for Boro, but now moved on, may be allowed to play. Midfielder from Hinckley springs to mind

Is that fair on Leamington ?
There was talk at yesterday's game that maybe some players who had been on loan earlier in the season could be available to come back . Like fozzy in the playoffs . If that's a possibility i have no idea .

With fosdick - he was on dual registration, but played most the season away from boro.

One of my pet hates is when it’s said non contract players have gone on loan - they can’t be loaned but can have dual registration.

We would only be able to play players who had moved on and not become cup tied and we had kept their registration on a dual registration basis . A player can't be on dual registration at two clubs in the same division or possibly league .
Would be my understanding of the situation .

My understanding also.
Thing is - I don’t think there has been any signings from conf-north/conf-National.

I am sure the B-FA would (with Leamington agreement) allow some rules to be bent to allow Boro to have at least 12 available.
