Twelve years after his last Boro appearance

Either he signed very young before or is knocking on

He's 36.
We do need a few squad players now up front.
I'm trying to be positive here.

With Hood particularly and Towers, it looks like the gaffer has brought in some experience which at times the team has needed.

I would say experience is in abundance from the players who have represented the club this season.

I am struggling to think who has not been around this level (and above) for many seasons.

I would guess the average age, and games played is a high as it has ever been.

Have a feeling Towers is a stop gap signing, similar to Barlone last season, brought in to boost numbers with Edmunds and Henshall out at the moment

I’m afraid the only thing Hood and Towers have in common with these Boro legends is age.

do you think he will be :-)
as ever the proof of the pudding will be in the eating... we will see

seems to be one hell of a lot of comings and goings this season
beginning to think this will be the norm

though these two signings could be interpreted as
much needed, numbers wise.
if there are any departures will reveal all.

postscript ; two have left apparently
