Such is the need to get the North Caledonian League finished on time, that Orkney will play two league fixtures on the same day!
One at home and one away!
Saturday March 14th will see Bunillidh Thistle [Helmsdale] v Orkney at 12:30, and Orkney v Bonar Bridge at 12:45. Early KOs are to allow the away teams to get ferries home.

So if there are any die-hard "never miss a game" Orkney fans, they'll need to be in 2 places at once!

Playing the 2 weakest teams in the league, Orkney should win both, whether with half a first team at one and half at the other, with reserves/kids making up the elevens, or whether keeping the first team together for one fixture and letting the kids stay at home for the other match

Not my words as lifted of another site . To think the Premier league moan if they have to play twice in a week .
Just for reference the North Caledonian league covers the area of the Highlands north of Inverness including the Islands .
