I expect a drugs test to take place very soon.

Not saying it will come back positive, but for a Premier League footballer, who doesn't drink often, to 'still be going' at 8am takes some effort...

Can he legally be tested? Perhaps the FA/Villa might be able to, but the police? I honestly don't know.
He may have even taken legal drugs - I am very ignorant on the whole subject.

Who's says he does not drink? Himself? Perhaps he is disciplined during the season.

Leaving the scene of an accident is not a good thing to do. Even if legal in every way possible, it does smack of hiding stuff. Has a player ever left the scene before ;) ;) and if so, what happened to him ;)
