Ref October that's not the case the fact is no one currently knows as the government haven't yet said . A number of clubs are starting friendlies from next Saturday . A couple of examples Market Drayton v Telford is behind closed doors but Racing Warwick are playing what is being advertised as their last game on grass , before they change to plastic . It's free admission but they're openly encouraging spectators to turn out . It really is unclear currently .

See Tamworth have announced their pre season games and have said that under current government guidelines no fans will be admitted to any of the games

Read an article on Port Vale the other day and they were not expecting to have any fans at games till October, but as you say it’s confusing and needs clarification

Even the most optimistic of articles i've seen are not expecting friendlies to be played at our level util late August , early September . Believe they can only currently train in small groups upto six with no contact . Really can't see any chance of this going ahead .

Been here when on a break down there . Decent little set up for their level ( 6 , same as Griff ) proper little ground and they get in about 150 fans , which is reasonable for their level . Ground is only about a 20 mins walk from the seafront / hotel area , but is uphill all the way .

Struggle to see this happening. Sadly.

Hope rescheduled for summer 2021 when things are open again, hopefully.

Very difficult for clubs to plan anything, given the current situation at what point do clubs sign players , most would assume will wait to see if season can start at some point before doing so .

Bit surprised club have not announced any departures.
I guess because not many on contract so all can keep options open.

Guess clubs are not going to make decisions on signing players until they know if season can start, players contracts will come to an end so only those contracted for next season will remain on clubs books.

Look at the comments by the Boreham Wood chairmen who has already spent £150k on re-signing players for next season in the mistaken ( probably ) belief that the season will start sometime soon . As for players not leaving where they going to go , all clubs are in the same boat and there's not going to be many offering big money about , mind you this is football .

Because there are likely too be a good many players available can see wages coming down, clubs wont offer big wages because there are going to be so many players available

A knock on of this ( lower wages ) if it happens may be that players will look to play closer to home rather than travel around chasing the money .

Think you could be right, if wages being offered are lower players are not going to want to travel far
