I see Belford has told FCUM he won’t be signing for them.
No surprise about obeng.
Strange one that ..... iirc he came with a good reputation, never seemed to do much wrong and played most of 2018/19 season.
Not sure where he based as Grantham a trek from Ashton.
Goes without saying - must have been full time wages Issues BUT can’t see Grantham or Ashton contributing much.

Spoke to someone who's seen the pitch a couple of weeks back , says it looks in fantastic condition .

Not surprised really (not a dig).
Weather has been fantastic, plenty of sun, chance to get sprinklers on, no players ruining it.
Our cricket pitch and outfield is the best I’ve ever seen it too. Most clubs the same. Work being done and no hard work being undone.

Apparently we've had a EFL groundsman from Port Vale ? who's won EFL groundsman of the year a couple of times in to sort it . I think a lot more work has been done than just a cut and a bit of fertiliser and no use from what i've heard .
A number of the players were talking to fans at an away game last season possibly Kings Langley and they were saying how poor our pitch actually was when you get out on it .

Oh yeh I know plenty has been done.
But it now has the opportunity to be done properly and rested.

Too be honest i'm taking as a positive that money seems to be being spent on infrastructure . Firstly that we have some spare money to spend but also the fact that it is . Players look at a number of factors when signing for a club , money and the possibility of winning things are probably the top two , with being a good club to play for is probably third and facilities are a big part of that .

Completely agree.
Good playing surface and the gym and physio rooms are definitely a boost.
