Yep!

"In a freak occurrence just prior to the start of the 2007–08 season, Lita was faced with a month of downtime after damaging a leg muscle as he stretched in bed upon waking.[8] Coppell told the BBC: "Leroy is in a great deal of pain. It's a point of laughter but a serious business for him because he's going to be out for three or four weeks."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leroy_Lita#Reading

He played 66 times in the Premier League for Reading and Swansea, scoring 10 times. In the Championship he played 170 times and scored 49.

Stretching and knees

I tore my cruciate at home, jumping up suddenly from the floor in an attempt to swat a passing fly. I was 28,reasonably fit and an enthusiastic if below average footballer. There was no keyhole surgery. Despite prolonged physio I was told I would never last a full 90 minutes again and that proved to be right.

I did my right knee ligament aged 12, just kicking a tennis ball in the garden and still live with the injury 50+ years later. I was an average footballer before the injury and not much worse after, except I couldn’t turn. I eventually became a rubbish (and very short) keeper who couldn't take goal kicks cos of my dodgy knee. An unpromising career cruelly cut short.........

With me it was my shoulder . All i did was pick up a newspaper while sat in a chair aged about 15 and my shoulder/ neck locked in agony . I had weeks in a neck brace and even now 40 years down the line i still get pain from it .

ones thing for sure he will certainly know how to kick a football
sounds a sensible acquisition to me given the circumstances.

think the news on the pitch etc etc sounds positive too

not worried about any of the announced departures and one or two more if im honest
there will be many options out there imo.
we will again have virtually a blank canvas to work from.
hopefully lessons learnt from the last close season

all down of course to circumstances out of footballs control
