The other one also a striker is Jack Hilton who played for Tamworth's U21's last season.

Don't want to be negative , we should be signing good young talent but one question is nagging at me , why haven't Tamworth signed him . Hopefully their lose is our gain .

The lad who went on loan to Hinckley?
The lad who got injured during relegation season?

Could be a host of things.

Perhaps not rated at Tamworth.
Perhaps Nuneaton more local
Perhaps he does not like 4G pitch
Perhaps his mates at Nuneaton.
Perhaps he sees/sold more opportunities at Nuneaton
Perhaps Boro offered better deal.

Suspect it’s down to money, they have more than we do and can afford better than a young lad who is unproven, for us I suspect it’s going to be the case of signing a few experienced players, Lita, Gudger, and mixing it with a few who have “potential “ like these two

just had a look on Boro chat
apparently a new signing who will be a game changer to be announced !!
now that info can be digested in several ways :-)

off topic see Wigan have gone into administration
wonder what precedent the FA will administer here
cant possibly put it down to a club living beyond its means

Wigan apparently made a loss of £15m over the last 2 years winds the Whelan and Clarke family departed.

Doesn’t sound that much in football terms in the highest tiers but I guess with no way to pay it back, it is.

I suspect they were in trouble anyway, but covid19 has pushed it over the edge.

Only taken over one month ago by a consortium from Hong Kong a lot of questions being asked about the FA's vetting system . Have been given a 12 points deduction , you get automatically for going into admin . Will apply this season if they stay up or next season if they get relegated .
