Chairman

This may be common knowledge, or rumour, or whatever, but Derek Dunnachie (one of the investors/board members etc) has just referred to Adam Hayes as the chairman.
So Jimmy is not chairman and manager. Although still owner I think.

I read in some article either in the press or on the clubs website that he was chairman several months ago

Yeh it would be good to know who is doing what decision wise, as vast majority seem to think JG is doing everything.
In a private company like Boro leisure anyone can be a director or chairman without owning shares.
As we all know by now JG is the only .GOV registered director and shareholder.
A bit of transparancy would not go amiss but people will say why do you want to know this.
e.g did the co-op actually contribute to the £10k pot without any say.

You don't have to have shares in any company to be director.
My understanding is its the share-owners that appoint directors to run the club on their behalf.
