Can’t see our level playing again until New Year at the earliest, National Leagues are having so many games called off due to Covid can see it being difficult for them to finish there seasons as well

Think they will try and restart in some form as to not finish a second season will potentially be a disaster . If they can't restart after dec 2nd its difficult to see them being able to just carry on with the season as it is and it's highly likely any restart will be in a different format . Most likely scenario will be to stop the season as it is now and apply ppg for what's already been played then split the divisions in half and play ten teams twice each . Add the two together then have some sort of play offs to determine relegation and promotion . It would be a bit like the conference system they run in American sports .

Think we would be in bottom half based on current table.

Assuming re-start (mid december) and ignoring Trophy most clubs will have 34 games to play in Dec, Jan, Feb, March, April & May.
Thats about 6 games/month.

This also excludes games lost due to weather and probably corona related cancellations. Whilst possible, probably best to assume the worse as not to finish the season and not to have promotion /relegation would be so wrong.

Looking at club location (https://southern-football-league.co.uk/ClubMap) there is a clear east(10) / West(12) split. IMO probably fairer to have an un-equal split than to ask Banbury to move East.

NB - I think Boro have only played 2 of the ten clubs in the east, and both at home (Rushden & St Ives).

Realistically clubs only have to reach the ppg threshold to have relegation & promotion . I think this has been set at 75% of games played . So as long as we can get to 32 games played ( approx ) then at least the season can reach some sort of conclusion . Not ideal but ideal might not be possible .
