Suspect the lack of income for wasps and the rumours of financial problems may have influenced.

IRRESPECTIVE - excellent news.

I remember talking to some Kettering Town supporters when they were still at Rockingham Road but knew they had to vacate.
I was amazed at their response. "We will be fine, the council will sort a ground out".

This is excellent news, but where is the money coming from?
Unlike Nuneaton & Worcester they did not own their ground.
Given everything, I can't see the council paying for anything more than the land it sits on*

* 2nd read, they are buying the land.

2nd edit - Went to look where land was....... does not give much confidence when the club spells the name wrong !!!!

Unless they take out a large loan or have a wealthy benefactor waiting in the wings my guess it will be a ground that meets the basics then look to build from there . Similar to what Worcester are trying to do but the basics needed at Step 2 are a bit more than step 5 .
Mind you thinking about it most of the facilities at Burton Latimer are temporary put in by KT so wouldn't be too difficult to move to a different site . Build a clubhouse / changing block then move the stands , toilets etc and there up and running .

There appears to be a pitch with buildings there already - guessing that’s the actual site next to a college
