Interesting insight into what it's actually cost one of the national leagues lesser clubs , in terms of size , to carry on . I'm not sure how many have managed it and it's certainly going to impact ( financially ) on many going forward .

The fact that they can’t get this loan because the owner has already remortgage d his house and take out two business loans to keep the club running shows how difficult it is for clubs

It was forever thus, the clubs that do the right thing and run their business in a responsible and morally correct manner are the ones that end up paving the way for all the help to go to the irresponsible dream chasers.

Locally to me, the Halifax manager (in his first full time managerial job) got them to the national league playoffs last season and could well do so again this season.

He's out of contract this summer, and the board cannot offer him a new deal until they know what financial support they may have.

Other clubs interested and may pounce.
