With lockdown restrictions about to ease we bring you our final ‘Lockdown Lookback’ Boro highlights offering.

The FTTT team will be taking a well earned (?) break to recharge our batteries and we hope you have enjoyed our efforts to keep you entertained during these difficult times.

Our series finale brings you a feisty FA Cup First Round clash from November 1995 when Boro made the long journey north to take on Barrow.

Just under 3,000 fans packed into a rain lashed Holker Street including over 500 vocal Boro fans who made the 400 mile round trip to cheer on their side.

The Boro team did their fans proud with a fantastic performance in a rip-roaring cup-tie despite having two players sent off within a minute as they ended the game with just nine players.

The 1995/96 season saw a very talented Boro side clinch a league and Southern League Cup double.

Highlights from the Barrow v Boro FA Cup tie can be viewed from 3pm today in the ‘Memories’ section of our website at

If you feel you can help our project with any rare or unique Boro memorabilia then please email us at - [email protected]

Thank you for your continued support, it is very much appreciated by the FTTT team.

Thanks for providing these highlights during lockdown. They have provided an interesting trip down memory lane.

As far as the latest offering goes, after watching, I'm still no wiser as to why Crowley and Anderson were dismissed by the much reviled Mr Lynch!

There were a lot of bad tackles/fouls from both sides flying around.
