On the only time I have really seen him play (Rushall) he looked totally out of depth and a little boy playing with the big boys YET he had played a lot for Banbury.
Strange one - perhaps Nuneaton were the wrong club for him.

I understand getting rid off the fringe players but surely need to get rid of some of the players who are starting and are underperforming. Their the ones who have been the problem.

I suspect the theory is the money saved will be used to bring in players who in turn will turn the players currently starting into fring players.

I hope players can be attracted into the club. Actually I hope that the intention and its not cutting the budget (or bringing in back into control) by signing youth-loans as I really dont think thats the answer.

"Its a funny old game", but I have zero hope for tomorrow BUT if the right players can be found then perhaps things will turn round.

ONE POSITIVE - Its highly unlikely that Boro will be bottom tomorrow as Stourbridge play Market Harborough.

Doesn’t really change anything either if the same players who’ve been playing/under performing stay

been away for a few days just back and im already scratching my head here.
who have we signed and who have we released ???
it appears to be yet another revolving door of the playing personnel !!!
dont want to pour cold water on events but it looks like there is a complete lack of a plan
have to say if Jimmy was a regular employee in his position he would be out of a job by now
dont think many would argue that point even he himself would surely have to agree, if somewhat reluctantly
having said that i hope for obvious reasons he gets it right and does indeed turn it around
but with the best will in the world im not holding my breath on this one
im normally so positive but i just have major doubts...
hope ive got it hopelessly wrong and believe me nothing would give me more pleasure.
time will provide the answer

Call me a idiot or negative however ……

JG coming out and saying he is asking 5-6 players to leave to freshen up the squad seemed to get a reaction and people were happy cause he was doing
something but this week players have left and been replaced with 18 yr old kids on loan.

Is he freshening up the squad or due to bad start and out of cup has the wage bill been slashed, personally adding 18 yr olds isn’t improving the squad at all, might have a weaker squad now than this time last week. Or has one of the investors pulled their money.

Who knows but when he said he was freshening up the squad I was expecting southern league players not kids which if we were a prem club you would say they doing it due to money issues

Agree, let’s hope suitable players will come after 7 days approach expired.
The kids surely have to be short term cover.

Jason Dean said on his podcast that the budget this season was based on crowds of 400 which we have been getting so would be surprised if players are being let go because of the budget, could possibly be that these youngsters are a stop gap till he can bring in other players hence why only one month loans

Is Jason Dean apart of the same group of people who said at the fans forum they had put together a title winning squad.

And they think they were going to do that on crowds of 400 when I bet 200 would be season ticket holders (laughing loudly)

Sorry if I have doubts what any of them say

History is not kind to him on this - easier to attract decenct players during the close season.

let us all hope that we have got the wrong end of the stick
maybe the players are short term till suitable become available
the downside for me is we had the close season to put matters right for this season !!!!!
NOT so it apparently seems.... just hate being negative here
