Started off ok, conceded a soft penalty then Coalville got free kick on edge of our area Breedon guarding his far post as kick was taken Breedon took couple of steps away from the post and Kee put it exactly where Breedon had been stood. Trying to knock the ball around but taking too many touches, young lad upfront doing his best but getting no support at all, when ball gets put in box he is only one there

Could not be arsed today once alternative surfaced.

I thought Boro played okay against Rushden..... lost;
Boro were very good 1st half against Hendesford.....lost.
I hear they were brilliant at RC Warwick (says a lot)
I am hearing "played well today".......lost.

On tuesday its PSG vs Man City, Porto vs Liverpool and Boro vs Peterborough.
I am no fan of CL, but I am also no fan of cold/wet weather (which will be the deciding factor).

I have never put "win or nothing" as main priority; I value entertainment and quality BUT its getting desperate as quality wont be playing the likes of Bedworth. I hear Peterborough play good attacking football......perhaps that will be a factor

Two sides out on the pitch today, only one team though and that wasn't us I'm afraid!
Coalville had a game plan and stuck to it, keeping our defense turning and stretching us at will, we just played the best we could at football, no plan, no shape and not good enough.
we used to play these village sides in pre-season friendlies to give them some money....how the mighty have fallen!

Today was actually a better performance than of late ( not difficult ) at least we played with some energy , but we we're still very much second best . No game plan , tactically naive and just not good enough in most areas of the pitch . If something doesn't change drastically we will be playing Bedworth & Coleshill next season .

im afraid that thats the problem
its not whether JG can or cannot turn it around
its that in a profession where results are paramount
dog eat dog if you like ie. for every winner there has to be a loser
he is answerable to himself only. !!!!!!!!!!!
how can that ever work
i find that a totally unacceptable situation for success.
not having a go at JG just pointing out what i see as a totally flawed system.

ok J. if i accept your point that the manager would probably agree.
which leads me to believe you have some sort of contact with him.
why oh why just not spell it out to the troops.
ie i want to be the team manager but i dont want to be the owner too
or im not prepared to just be the owner and appoint a manager.
even if i fail as the team manager.
or why not put the club up for sale im not advocating that just suggestions
im aware maybe his hands are tied maybe with the investors i accept that dont like it for one bit though.

look J lets not beat about the bush here im not pro or anti JG as the team manager if hes good at it..
thats fine by me if not like any other manager then its tatty bye
i want him as overlord off the pitch as hes worked wonders with the clubs investments.
he must be a great organizer and figurehead '
hence in a nutshell i want what is best for the club if thats seen as some sort of a crime so,b.it
but whatever they are my opinions, which going on what ive seen im sticking with for now.
i have no axe to grind just the best way forward
cheers

The main question for me has to be TO JG as owner of the club.

If another manager was in charge, with this record, would JG (as owner) have sacked him?

If the answer is no, he should stay as manager.

If the answer is yes, he should resign as manager.

That simple.

He absolutely should stay as owner, but he needs to ask himself that question IMO
