Price reduction

If I have it right - £2 discount on adult prices only for bromsgrove game.

https://nuneatonboroughfc.ktckts.com/event/nun2122h08/bromsgrove-sporting

I really don’t think this will attract any/many and will cost club money (particularly given the opposition).

£4 I think.

Decent gesture regardless of impact.

For what it's worth,I went to Warrington Town v Stalybridge Celtic a few weeks ago.
£6...seating at no extra.
Attendance around 500 I think. 3-0 home win. They both would,I reckon,be too good for the Boro on last season's showing. I haven't seen Boro since Lichfield away.

A poor imitation.

Warrington...population circa 210k.

I believe it is the biggest town in England without an EFL club.

Ealing always gets ignored in these conversations...

Ealing is a borough of West London, not a town. Has several towns & villages within it, but all swallowed up by Greater London.
Chelsea, Fulham, QPR and Brentford territory, all a short distance away by tube.

Same goes for Enfield, London borough with a huge population but no league club, although Tottenham not far away.

So, in that local authority area they have no league club.
Just like Nuneaton, and Warrington, and Poole and Dudley and all the others that get wheeled out in this debate.
Every time this issue comes up in any forum, nonkne can seem to agree on a way of defining the area and working out the population.
I think there may even be another London Borough, in the south, that doesn't have a league team.
The same happens with "biggest place without a train station" and "biggest town without a Wetherspoons", although that question has been redundant for a few years since everywhere has them now :-)

There are 13 league clubs within a 15 mile radius in Greater London, so not exactly short of clubs!

I think VoR meant stand alone towns without a league club. Towns within a borough council in a massive conurbation like London shouldn't be in this debate as plenty of clubs a short distance away.

Telford is another one, population around 150,000 but no league club.
Not that far to Shrewsbury or Wolverhampton though.

Dudley people just follow Wolves or West Brom so no need for a league club

Wakefield is another, but they nearly all support Leeds.

As I said, there never seems to be a clear ruling in this debate, even you are removing places for what I would see as spurious reasons.

My memory says Gloucester were biggest town/city to never have a football club.

I think comparing the likes of Gloucester, Worcester, Weymouth, Northwich, Barrow is a more fair comparison as those towns/citys have existed for donkey years and not "created" areas.

Yes, Worcester & Gloucester are good examples, both over 100,000 population.

But both much bigger rugby towns than football

Again, if you are going to look at smallest, then you need to define parameters.
Sure there are some smaller places than Burnley with league teams, especially in the modern pro option and relegation from non league era.

Yes have friends who live there, population of the town itself is approx.150,000.

The 210,000 figure is misleading as it takes in surrounding towns like Culcheth, Birchwood and Lymm and several other villages. They are all classed as in the Borough of Warrington but are actually miles away from the town.
I think Lymm is 5 miles east and Culcheth is about 7 miles away!
Great Sankey is a separate town of around 22,000, but is classed as in the Warrington Borough aswell.

But yes a very big town to have no football league club. It's a big Rugby League supporting area and most locals follow either Man.United or Liverpool as the town is exactly midway in distance between both cities.

It's a Rugby League town firstly and surrounded by Rugby League giants.

A poor imitation.
