Seriously
Jimmy needs to step aside and appoint someone else as manager and the allow them to manage without interfering . If he can do this he needs to decide if he's happy to stay on as owner / chief exec whatever you fancy calling it . If he is and can fine if not he needs to find someone else to take over running the club .
I know all this is not an easy ask but it's the only way out of the current situation . I don't expect any of this to actually happen but there's no other way out of this situation .

Ive given up on a season ticket since last relegation - Boy does it give a sense of freedom as I no longer feel obliged to attend as its been pre-paid.

You said "when i want to join a social club i will" - I say "when I want to join a junior club that also runs a senior team I will go to Pauls Land"

It is pretty evident now that what interests the ''investors'' most is the income streams away from the first eleven.
The under-age,small-sided and ladies football competitions plus the live music events, social club activities, match day experiences, catering activities and drinks income from the social club must all add up to a tidy sum,and attractive to investors.

A poor imitation.

Yes, but the running of a business is more than playing budget.

Perhaps “rob peter to pay Paul”

If overall income reduced then cuts needed. Perhaps (yet again) new debts discovered

Not saying yes/no but number of players has dropped

THIS.

We hear all the time about "investors", and then when they had enough they want their loans back...... which leads to clubs folding. JG only "saved" the club because Thorne and Neale wiped off their loans.

IMO loans (other than short term, or those given by financial institutes) should be banned in football.

There is a list of club officials & the investors are at the bottom of that list.

Macclesfield Town were only established just over a year ago, and only really started trading/playing in July.

You are talking about multi-millionaire and a national presence.

What the new Macclesfield did was embrace a new start following liquidation. Got the town behind it.
Perhaps if Boro were ever liquidated the same could be done and not "the king is dead; long live the king"..... oh.... they did get liquidated.

I was very impressed at the start of the season, that all of the floodlights were working & in good order, with no lights out but of late two of the lights have been out for a while now & have not been replaced.

During the latter stages of Lee Thorn's reign, there were 3 or 4 lights out on a regular basis.

The dark areas on the pitch are very noticeable during the game.

It looks unprofessional.

If anyone is interested, Google 'stamford afc floodlights' & SJB Floodlighting Ltd (Chelmsford) will appear & you can look at their design proposal for Stamford's new floodlighting system.

Philips OptiVision LED 3.5 floodlights.

There is nothing stopping the Boro from checking out their existing floodlighting system, at any time...

Philips are very helpful.

I don't know how much they spend each year on electricity costs but low-energy fittings is the way to go & they could always enquire about grant availability with the Football Stadia Improvement Fund.

If you go to most/all grounds they have a lot of sponsorship. Are we to take "investors" are putting money in beyond this?

I would also like to know how much the junior/women section are costing. IMO they should be self sufficient.

Having had two lads who played for a local team (who also run a first team) I know the cost involved.... kit, balls, referees, equipment & pitch hire and the effort taken in fund-raising and how much they rely on volunteers/parents to help.

Not being funny but i dont support the boro wanting the under 8 to win or the under 10s. The most important team is the first team that is why supporters go. We have all these academy teams under 16s, 18s and 23s. But how many have actually played for the first team (in the league)?????

I would understand if they come out and said look the budget isnt great we cant afford much and we have to use some of our youth. But we have a top 8 budget and got told we are chasing playoffs.

I would suspect the academy may be finance-neutral. In some ways its Boro' just putting their name to a Further-education initiative.
Thats why all clubs at this level (and below) have such a systems. Just look at the teams Boro' play.

I am not sure of WBA involvement; but it may be them putting a name to an initiative.

At Stratford they have a separate floodlight 3G pitch and changing facilities.
I doubt the club paid for this, and I suspect funded by the LEA.

At Coalville they have a separate floodlights (i think) pitch (and what looked like a training pitch)

i honestly thought that he would appoint a manager at the earliest possible moment.
however hes overseeing a mess that does not remotely look like it will improve
i would hazard a guess its getting worse..... i dont get it.
off the field ie the actual running of the club investment activities etc etc seems fine.
im not knocking him but i pay good money to watch a pro football team.
we're in danger of falling into being one up from a bunch of amateurs. THAT is not for me.
others have to make their own minds up.
he will eventually have decisions to make. change or sell ( if a buyer can be found that is )

Would be very difficult to see a drop in attendance. I think attendances now speak volumes.

(all things being equal) I will be at the game tomorrow, but highly unlikely I will be at Saturdays game..... Both tough games.... St Ives and Royston Town ;)
