Love this quote - says a hell of a lot about football and in particular boro
A long-time servant of the club since joining the Boro in November 2018 from Coleshill Town,
THREE AND HALF YEARS now makes you a long-term servant!!!

I think in football, 3.5 years is long service.
Credit to him.

Well compared to Bradley, 3 weeks, Edmunds should be getting a long service award:)

JG has finally got shot of all the people at the club before he joined that were holding him up. The only way now is up :)
* Is Richie Norman still involved.. might he be the problem :) :) :)

Shame IMO. not watched as much as I used to but whenever I did he stood out as always putting a shift in.
Seems a genuine likeable lad, played in every position asked. Wish him all the best.

Always felt he thought we was better than he actually was.
May have put a shift in when the ball was nearby but not so much when he had to track back and positional awareness** was poor.
If Boro had an award for clubman, then he would be a clear winner. He always seemed to want to play for Boro - fair play for that.
** as others have said, he not played in a favoured position.....whatever that was as he never seemed to get a consistent run in a forward position. .

I think that means - only Breedon, Benbow, McGory, Mussa, Kaziboni, (Ginelley and Hinks) remain from pre-season!!!!

Think he wasn’t helped by being played right back, right wing back, midfield, right winger, upfront, JG didn’t do him any favours playing him in different positions. When he first came in the relegation season from NLN and played upfront at times he did really well, shame he wasn’t played there more as he said it was where he preferred playing.

Real shame. One of few players that have stuck around for a while. He’s been constantly messed around in different positions, but with proper coaching he would have been a real asset to us (could say that for a lot of players).

Capable of the spectacular on occasions . Will probably be best remembered for two such moments v Darlington & Litchfield . As others have said probably suffered from never having a settled position and always seemed like he just wanted to play . The signing of the young right back from St Ives , who's looking a decent signing has cut his options even further and it's probably in his best interests to move on . Thanks for the efforts Ryan can't have been easy playing for us during the last few seasons and good luck for the future .

Thinking having a right back would have allowed him to play as a forward. See

Can't see it would be any worse to play him down than middle than Perry . At least he's mobile and can hit a ball .

Agree.
As I said, if an award for "clubman" he would fully deserve that award.
(not knocking him) but the accolades for his playing ability shows a lot about the state the club has been in the past few seasons.

Yes agree totally with your assessment. Personally I will miss this player would have been interesting to see how things would have gone with him if he had been played in his preferred playing position regularly. Thank you Ryan for all your 1000% effort whenever you wore our shirt and all the best for the future except when you play against us.

all players, signed, performances, attitudes, reflect on one man >
> the manager.
if he is out of his depth there is no hiding place for him
even if your club is not big enough to survive in a lge you can be organized.
KW was a great organizer Daish was shite. two examples
thats my take,
others have to judge for themselves.
