5-2-3 at a guess, with 3 attacking midfield players up front.

Other than Richards, which ones are they?

Butterfield & Chettle, they can both play as attacking midfielders.
That's a mobile front 3, particularly Butterfield & Richards, with Chettle linking the play.

He played Chettle very deep as a holding midfield player alongside himself with Kacy & Prince attempting to get forward and support Richards and i bet the St Ives defence have hardly had an easier afternoon all season .

Fact we’ve lost 3-0 and no one is really disappointed, arsed, whatever else, against St Ives pretty much sums up the state of things right now.
Awfully sad really

Thing is - results like this are no surprise. Take pre eviction and post trophy exit this is pretty standard.
I am sure we will all be amazed if no more departures and it’s down already to 12 senior players.

First 15 mins or so we looked ok but once St Ives realised we had absolutely nothing going forward they opened up and went forward at will . 3-0 flattered us to be honest and the injuries didn't help . It's hard to see we're we go from here with absolutely zero attacking options and little chance of changing it .

Just need another ten points and then should be safe from relegation.
Although if we enter administration we will be relegated anyway.

It is not automatic relegation if we enter Administration.
We will likely be deducted 12 points.
Then we will have to gain as many points as necessary to stay out of the bottom four.
We could even start next season on -12 points.

It's a potential two or three League demotion for Liquidation, that's why we need to avoid that at all costs.

That's what happened to Hereford.
Their first away game was at Dunkirk, a district in Nottingham.
I can remember the outcry from the Dunkirk Officials, saying to the FA basically, how do you expect us to cope with them! lol

Think Halifax vs Grimsby in trophy the same day - totally unforgettable as Grimsby had just been promoted.
I think 8000 in Hereford section.

If you liquidate then reform the FA put you back into the system where they feel based on a number of factors . Two divisions is the minimum drop it can be worse than that . Ground is a major consideration .

Re: 3-0 - full time - to make it slightly worse

That's why IMO we need a 10-year groundshare agreement in place before 6th March ideally, to make sure the FA can see that we are a properly run Club.
Forget LW, that will only condemn us to oblivion, if we don't act quickly!

Not sure you speak for the real supporters of Nuneaton boro , no one is interested in supporting a team in name only at bastard barwell or bastard Hinckley
The club requires grown up management with a self sustainable model , transparency and accountability to the supporters
A part of me wants a total new start , of which as a local business owner and lifelong supporter (unlike yourself) happy to get involved with any phoenix club that comes along
It can be done I’m very confident but football in the town must remain other wise I’m done so is the club contrary to your repeated bollocks about Hinckley

Agree, its far easier for me to go to Hinckley or Barwell, but its like visiting a relative in Hospital.
I'm ok with it for now hopefully till we get sorted but cant see me going much if the relative dies and we're a Phoenix club there.

Please let me state my case clearly:-
Firstly, the principle of setting up a Pheonix club/company is frowned upon & considered by many as to be outlawed & IMO should be avoided at all costs.
It will only come about if Boro Leisure is liquidated.
I would expect any prospective new owner to carry out a due diligence exercise & establish the true position of the Club's debt, before even considering such an action.
Secondly, the current landowner at LW by all accounts is not prepared to talk to the Club.
Move on, time is no longer on our side & we don't have time to waste.
Finally, sustainability.
We need somewhere to play after 6th March.
Also, by 31st March at the latest we need to confirm to the FA where we will be playing next season.
In the present circumstances, IMO, ideally we need to agree a 10-year groundshare at a venue/stadium where we are welcome, to give us medium-term security of tenure & satisfy the FA's requirements for membership.
A 10-year groundshare ought to be an attractive proposition to the host Club.
It will also give the Boro the guaranteed platform needed to move forward with their plans.
The Club can make an assessment of the drop-off in support & the drop-off in sponsorship & set a sustainable budget accordingly.
Once the budget has been set, the Club can assess what level of football is affordable & if necessary apply to the FA for a voluntary demotion.
Once that has all been agreed, we can look to build the Club back up from that foundation.
That will give us the time we need to source the funding & progress finding a new site/building a new stadium in Nuneaton.
They are just my thoughts!

The club is only still alive now because a couple of local businessmen are funding it from there own pockets . I very much doubt that's a situation they want to continue and if we don't get back to LW by next season i really don't see them looking to fund the club for the next ten seasons at Barwell / Hinckley / Stratford wherever and who can blame them . They would also need to find a few million pounds to build us a new ground in Nuneaton somewhere . What your saying is probably factually accurate but in the real world it ain't happening .

To put some more meat on the bones:-
To find a site, to find the funding & build a new Stadium in Nuneaton, IMO, would take 10 years.
Therefore, a 10-year groundshare agreement is the first priority.
I would assess the starting point for costing a new stadium in Nuneaton to be set at Level 8/Step 4.
Little steps!
We have to be focused now & stop wasting any more time trying to get back to a Stadium where we are clearly not welcome anymore, if indeed we have been welcome from the outset!?
Just as an aside, I would not expect two local businessmen to be asked to continue to fund the Club out of their own pockets for the next 10 years, there has to be a greater commitment from the townfolk than that, if we want our Club to continue & to prosper.

I think the evidence of what residents of Nuneaton want, in terms of a football club, is out there.
And that’s not just Nuneaton (I’m trying to ignore decades of failure) but most towns. “If you build it; people will come” may be true, but who (ie who is “we”) is going to do that?
