If Leamington can rise again from having their ground taken away to the position they are in today I'm sure dedicated Boro fans can get behind a similar venture.

Some have done it (Scarborough, Kettering, Leamington, Poole)
Some have failed.
There is also the issue some clubs have faced and thats. more than one phoenix club (Northwich, Enfield, Aylesbury. Hinckley).
Every situation is different. A big issue for Boro is that this is the 3rd time the club has folded in 30 years or so and its not so much the ground was taken away than the ground was forsaken.
I get the impression that many (particularly) stalwarts don't have the enthusiasm and (no disrespect to anyone) the right people to make it happen.

VS I agree with most of what you say but fervently hope that a group of Boro stalwarts and local sponsors can make it happen. One problem which Leamington didn't have is the availability of land. Land in and around Nuneaton where a new ground could be based might be a difficult problem. Nearly all land near towns these days is swallowed up in developer land banks. Leamington purchased land from a farmer some distance out of the town many years ago before land banks became the thing. It took Leamington many years and dedicated fans and sponsors with hard work but it was achieved.

Yep it’s a bit weird seeing stalwart supporters saying this is the end of an era and the end of longest relationship etc. This is the third time this has happened in my lifetime and I’m not that old.
Even weirder seeing Coventrians talking about funerals.
Something will emerge and hopefully a new home where we don’t act like cuckoos or think we can wipe out other sporting teams with genuine long standing heritage.
It’s a sad day but ultimately the rent issue is the tip of the iceberg and anybody with insight knows that trading at huge losses and paying too much to players was unsustainable. Thats the real cause of the demise whatever is spun.
