"It,s Just Not Cricket"
Went to a Test Match, a first for me,
got my ticket cheap from a tout named Lee.
Entered the ground, got a seat near the bar,
straining my eyes, the play was quite far.
The guy next to me in a blazer and cap,
had finished his Crossword and was taking a nap.
The crowd roar, some shouted "Four",
the only activity for 2 hours or more.
Another hour passed, I was wandering about,
when Bugger me, "Strewth!", an Aussie was out.
My enthusiasm was starting to wain,
as the heavens opened, and it began to rain.
So into the bar for a pint and sarnie,
and check on my horse "Kiss of the Blarney".
Then I remembered, I've got time to fly,
paint my lounge ceiling and watch it dry.

Yes. Slow start by Warks today. But it’s a ridiculously early start for the CC season in order to accommodate summertime biff-bash cricket. Wickets must be like puddings, if they aren’t underwater.

My season was due to start this coming Saturday, but has been put back a week. Assume the same in the Warks and Bham leagues?
