Some Big Name clubs
Views: 1154
Like "Wednesford Community" and :Leicester Saint Andrews"
Better than little name clubs like Bath or Corby :)
so a 3 level drop. Nuneaton Boro had played Bilston in a league game before. Perhaps Paget Rangers. I think Bridgenorth are also a different club.
Where is Allexton and Ingles?

My first ever Boro match was at MP v Lower Gornal (BSC 3rd round. 7th November 1964. Won 2-1. Att 1487!) Is Gornal Athletic the same team, or related? Edit - Yes, it is the same team, in a reborn form.
PS - I’m disappointed that Ludlow aren’t in ML1 as previously predicted as that’s the closest I would have come to a local away game, although Bridgnorth is a possibility.

Hope is not a plan.

Gornal left there at the end of the season to start at a new ground in August. Real shame!

Boro' fans will be in for some interesting experiences. Some of these will be with long- established teams, mostly from the West Midlands which encountered Nuneaton in the past, whatever their names.
Some of the others might be a surprise.
Heather St. Johns will be a fascinating visit for those who have never been there - and a pleasant one.
For a village team they have a set-up to die for, I think three floodlit pitches. It should be a lesson for our club.
The problem is for the Boro' to find a site in the town remotely as adaptable as Heather's. They, of course, had fields they could buy and develop.
So, the next season is going to be a great time, in my opinion. It will certainly be good for Heather (pronounced, by the way, HEETHER) when the Nuneaton fans pull up in their substantial car park.

Well as a new club waverer that's made my mind up to follow 'Town' next season. Some places there in my neck of the woods I've visited recently - Saffron Dynamo (Cosby), Lutterworth. Think there will be a good away following most weeks, some will struggle to cope, the Griff v Town derbies will be interesting.
Been impressed with the the news coming from the co-op.

I've got one from Bridgenorth.
Remember 200 odd Boro fans huddling under a tiny roof in the pouring rain watching a bedraggled Simmo.

I recall going to Bridgnorth to watch Boro, there was a pub next door that had hundreds of ties hanging from ceiling. It stunk.

How bright should floodlights be in the Conference?
