Beginning of the end for the old club. Feel really sorry for the people/supporters owed money they cant afford to lose.

I would hazard a guess its because 2023/24 accounts have not been submitted.
Given that there are no officers or person with significant control thats hardly surprising
How a company can theoretically be trading without anyone running it is beyond me.
No one has admitted to responsibility (either collectively or individually). In fact, quite the oppose.
I think its more "the end of the start".
I say that as all debts will now come out of the woodwork and eventually all those owed will be published (it happened with StadiaSafe).
It's more or less certain that the debts will be greater than the £750,000 reported for year 2022/23.
Sadly Its unlikely the (I have to assume) increase in debts during the non-promotion season will be buried with everything else., The previous season (fighting relegation) cost increased debts by £160,000.
I predict the final figure will be over £1,000,000.
For reference (again(
Liabilities (Ending June)
2022 £751,569 £160,836 Loss
2021 £590,733 -£60,067 Profit
2020 £650,800 £99,620 Loss
2019 £551,180 -£1,138 Profit
2018 £552,318 £86,422 Loss
2017 £465,896 £60,020 Loss
2016 £405,876 £84,193 Loss
2015 £321,683 £78,904 Loss
2014 £242,779 £101,510 Loss
2013 £141,269 £59,709 Loss
2012 £81,560

Your figures suggest the Boro was never financially viable at Liberty way- bad management or not.
Previous owners also maintained Boro were not financially viable at Manor park and needed a new stadium.

Yes we needed non football facilities e.g. conference suite etc to help sustain the club which were in the plans for LW but never built as the MP sale cash was frittered away.

“Frittered Away” that’s being very kind.

Yes thanks for that, interesting as Boro Leisure don't have any directors to take to task, they do still have shareholders though.

Not read the link, but it does make you wonder if the business has been acting legally since February.
Others probably know better, but aren't directors appointed by shareholders to run the business SO the responsibility rests with the directors (of which there are none).
As of Dec23,
Dan Aitchison - 13%
Ian Cook - 12%
James Ginnelly - 0%
DA Capital - 75%
There was certainly "ownership" tennis (hot potato) and if my memory serves me right the last person with significant control was David Anderson.
