It’s Great to see another local young lad in the squad. More Proof that our club really see’s itself as a true pathway to senior football. Hopefully he will establish himself and grow with the club .
Welcome aboard Josh 💙🤍💙

Several would think, only danger is they have been used to Academy football and will take time to adapt to mens football

It would be interesting to see what the squads in other teams in this league are like.

A mix of older heads who've played higher but still fancy a game . Young lads who didn't make it at academies and the best local league lads in their towns and villages who don't mind a bit more travelling on a Saturday .

Saw a few games at level 6 in last few months including teams in our league as I live in Leics.
Most teams had a few enthusiastic youngish lads and some older footballers that I could not comprehend what they were trying to do.
Defending seemed to be a major weakness and the goalies were not great. Attacking however seemed to be the way.
Note to self, 'be careful what you wish for'

Having watched a fair bit of level five, and a little of level 6, over past few years, fitness will play a major part.
The amount of late goals I have seen is amazing.
The dribble down of ex pros seems to have all but ended by step 5, the only player of note I have noticed was James Walshaw

How bright should floodlights be in the Conference?

Look what some of our fans thought of step 3 so there going to need to get their heads round step 6 on & off the pitch .
Games are usually open and very attack minded , as you say defending is usually an weakness .

To quote a past contributor
"its (only marginally above) recreation football"
If fact; as he thought SL-Premier was recreational what would he call this :)

Players don't have to pay subs at this level but there will be plenty of clubs who just cover expenses with the odd unmarked envelope .
