Sounds a decent signing on paper
If we kept signing even step 3 players to drop, I’d wonder what on earth we were doing.
A lad who’s still young but got experience of the lower leagues and has played a division higher sounds promising to me.

This is genuinely getting me more ‘on board’ than signing loads of journeymen or ex Boro players in their mid 30s.
Seems a sensible signing. Know how of these leagues is good.

One or two more from step 3 for me ....
And might be controversial but Leroy Lita would be a good signing, as a player and forward coach IMO

This is a new club; not following the mistakes of the Boro.
I would like to see young(ish) local(ish) players signed, good enough to push for promotion. Most staying for at least 2 years. The keeper seems pretty much in that bracket.
Build today for tomorrow.

The M6 is going to busy on a Saturday night. Couldn't be further than a local side that people can get behind. Poor recruitment, no connection. Same old Boro

I hope that this new club doesn’t come over as Big Time Charlies. And please, drop the ninety minute pre-match warm-up as you will lose too many balls.
We were warned, but did it anyway.

Lots of clubs at this level have great big tall fences behind the goals for that reason :)

Unless i've missed any we've signed six to date . Two with plenty of experience higher up , two from this sort of level and two young lads from the academy .
The last two are both likely black country based judging by their playing history . At this level clubs tend to sign local and i cant see lads dragging themselves thirty - forty miles each way for a tenner a match .

Some will get sponsor money, some petrol money+ a little wage. For some it's all about playing, if they don't get picked regular they will move on
