Cups

Got me thinking which cup competitions we will be in this season .
The MFL run a league cup so that's one . We will also be in a BCFA competition . We're not eligible for the Senior Cup so the next down is the Midweek Floodlit Cup .
After that its a case of if we choose to enter any of the local competitions like the Coventry Telegraph or Charity Cups which clubs at our level do play in .

Closing date was 1st April, I expect we were not ready in time.

I think it was mentioned somewhere about needing to be in existence for a certain length of time before you can enter the Vase. But I might be wrong.

What I thought - 3 years but last re-incarnation seemed to debunk that (unless last one was seen as a continuation).

Definitely not 3 years take a look at other clubs who've reformed like Macclesfield .
Think it's purely a case of not applying in time as Pod suggested .

The FA's rule of the club having to have a bank account was the blocker to applying. The club was still in the process of being incorporated at the time, and it wasn't possible to get a bank account until that was complete.

Also step 6 clubs can't apply to be entered in the FA Cup, they can only be invited to fill in any gaps so we need to get out of step 6 as soon as we can.
