Copse have been better side but not taken their chances
Sin bin for their captain at half time cost them dearly
Boro clinical but not impressive

Edwards’s/Hendie/Spruce very good down the right.

Certainly a game of two halves . First half we were very much second best and could easily have been three or four down before we scored late in the half . Second was a total turn around . We took control from the off and that domination increased as the half progressed . In the latter stages we played some really good stuff and it was a good watch .
I know the result does not suggest it but Copsewood looked a decent side and will give some of the better sides problems . We do seem to start games slowly and seem to impose ourselves as the game goes along . The problem with this is we sometimes find ourselves up against it before we get going as in the recent games against Heather & Griff .

Sin binning was the turning point and led to the penalty although we had scored by then against the run of play.

I've played at that ground too!

Long ago in a charity match. Up against Benno, Brendan, Kirk etc. That was tough-we just could not get the ball off them!
Bet it's not the same pitch there nowadays, though. Is Copsewood artificial now?

It also helped when they took a decent left back off…amazing decision.
We tore them apart in that area late on…first time I’ve really seen us get wide, which imo has been our biggest issue going forward.
It was a good pitch, wide and well cut. Although there was a slight slope, I don’t think that was important.
