A Goal for Every Four Spectators

Coton Green went top of the Midland Div1 table last night by beating Paget Rangers 6-0 in front of 24 paying spectators - yes, twenty-four (not counting any dogs presumably). The other two games also finished 6-0. For me, this sums up the level that Boro’ are currently at. We’ve gotta keep stringing results together and get outta here as soon as possible.

Agree with that.
Last sentence is a must this season for me, anything else shouldn't even enter the clubs mind.

The league is split into two, the teams in like top 10 are the decent sides with good organised set up. Then the other 12 clubs are pretty much Sunday League and that's not being disrespectful. You've got one league with clubs at different levels. Borough must keeping winning their games and beat them teams above us. Too keep the fans on board I do fear we must get promoted this season, I think a lot of supporters will drop off if we are playing in the same league next year.

when there was no team to support.

Boro fans going to Hinckley, Atherstone even Tamworth just to watch a game.

Just enjoy having a Nuneaton team to support again, I’m enjoying it & if we go up great if not keep supporting until we do.

I AM SURE IT IS UNINTENTIONAL but the tone of the original posts COULD be perceived as arrogance/air of superiority by other clubs in the league.

When times are tough, which they will be at some point, just remember February 2024.

That honestly wasn’t my intention. Just an observation after I checked last night’s results.
