Is there a game today?
Only, I'm planning to go to the Oval today to see us play. Looking forward to that as I missed the last two due to other commitments.
Not much about it on here so the "floaters" wouldn't know. ( yes. I KNOW fixtures are on the club site).
Anyone who wants to see the status of the club new or old heading back upwards needs to put a few pennies through the turnstiles and get behind the current squad.
See you later?

Have to say that I’m missing today, first of the season. But it is down to unavoidable circumstances beyond my control.
We were warned, but did it anyway.

Harrison with the second at the death. 2nd half scrappy and Gornal got dirty, they had two players sent off.

Boro have not conceded a goal in our last five league games . Daly hasn't played in any of them .

I thought defence v good today against a tough team. Carsley gives much better balance.
We dominated first half but were pushed close second half.
Then their frustration overcame them and they had two sent off.
Good crowd again!

Another three points
Views: 1199
Grudgingly prised from a robust Gornal. Their keeper was superb. Couple of worldies from him, first half.
Gornal tried with some success to make things difficult but they lost their heads a little towards the end when the ref tired of their Arsenal-style protests. Quite the gobbiest team I've heard for some while.
Well done to Boro (Town) for holding out and taking all the points.

The more of your posts that I read the more I am convinced that you are an immature schoolboy trying to come across as intelligent, and failing dismally.

Harrisons goal

Just seen the video on you tube of his goal . He was well inside his own box when he picked up the ball . He actually ran almost the whole length of the pitch .

He arrived without much fanfare and was seen as a bench warmer first few games . Totally turned it round .

Question re: Carsley
Views: 829
He's the big tall number 3, right? Took most of the corners on Saturday .
Just a thought, but if we have anyone else who can take corners, at that height he could cause chaos resulting from pieces, in a penalty area, when up against big lads like quite a few of our opponents seem to like to pack into their defences.
I'll get my coat.

Re: Question re: Carsley

Hendry was the main corner taker and his corners we're good even if we were a bit obsessed with aiming everything at Daly . Something the opposition quickly worked out . In recent games Hendry's been on the bench and Daly's gone missing so at least we're trying different things .

Interesting.
Johnson's finish first half=brilliant final touch:
Gornal Goalie's excellent saves:
First sending off-it looked like ref was brandishing a yellow? Or did I imagine that?
Excellent finish for second goal.

I think that ref's cards had yellow backs. Very strange.
