Half a team of changes from Saturday and a handful rested all together . First half we never got going and had Matt Hill to thank for still being level at the break . Second we stepped it up and completely took over . Baker beat the offside to give us the lead then doubled by a fine solo goal from Harrison . A cracking finish saw them pull a goal back from nowhere and we then had to scrap out the last few minutes as they gave it a go .
Att 210 ( roughly half from boro )

As a percentage of our regular home support our away support must be some of the highest in the country at any level .

Do you think part of that comes as a result of no games being 'at home' so our fans are used to travelling to every game, and none others are THAT much further to go?

Good, either way.

Distance I would say.

Until Boro ended up in the SL-Midland (2 seasons after Gola League) I hardly went to an away game. Going to small (but local) clubs like Tamworth (whatever happened to them) became easier and gradually I went further afield.

I almost never went away in the last 10 years since we deropped out of the national. Now I try to get to most away games, its fun to go to some tree lined ground I've never been to in the middle of nowhere.

My trip to Coton Green is now penned (rather than pencilled) in on the calendar :) Looking forward to it.
