Only really properly looking at the table right now ahead of my trip at the weekend.

I'll be honest, I've therefore not paid as much attention as I could (should have).

I knew we were top, but

- joint MOST GOALS SCORED
- Third BEST DEFENCE
- by far the BEST GOAL DIFFERENCE
- Joint MOST GAMES WON
- Joint FEWEST GAMES LOST

Coton Green and Smethwick look the two most likely to be able to overtake based on points per game and not losing much, so a result at Coton Green really would be a big boost.

*I'd picked the Coton Green game as my first a while ago, based on location, mine, my mrs, and my Mums schedules, not just coz I'm a big game charlie daytripper Pod ;)

Very impressive season so far really for a first season. I know we have the biggest crowds, and therefore probably one of, if not the, biggest budgets, but it's still good going! Applauds.

It’s interesting to note that after our Boxing Day fixture we have 15 games of which 10 of them are at home
Looking at the fixtures closer a lot of the top teams still have to play each other . For example Coton are playing bilston last game of the season
If we are there or thereabouts after Boxing Day I’m optimistic on our chances .

For sensible reasons I think we have been cautious with the budget budgeting for 200 home gates.

However there’s no getting away from the fact a lot of these grounds are fields usually watched by one man and his dog. Somebody mentioned Coton Green got 21 spectators last week I think and they are at the top.

So enjoy the day and the travelling Nuneatonians and the fact we have a Club at all. We get a very warm welcome for the money we are bringing to these Clubs!
