Code of Conduct
Views: 547
Judging by the recent club statement with the reminder of the code of conduct sounds we have had a few complaints. Can't say I've never seen anything major from our supporters. I somehow don't think the players or officials at this level are used to seeing such bigger number crowds and very passionate supporters.
I'm sure most of the season Boro/Town supporters have remained very respectful to club staff for wherever they have visited and received a warm welcome from all. My guess if any complaints it's come from mainly officials and players.

Been through that list and have witnessed 9 out of the 11 issues first hand, all 9 away from home and a couple at home.
As you say not major, but some comments have been very distateful and make us look like big time Charlies.

No wish to annoy you again with my daftness, Pod but I haven't got a clue what you are talking about. Is there a C of C issue somewhere else which I have missed?
If so can you advise me of a link where I can see the comments or criticisms you refer to?

Yes clear enough thank you, but why is this suddenly a current thread today?
Is it new to the BoroTown website?
Has someone or some persons abused or broken the Code of Conduct?
I can recall some previous coaches and managers not really following this kind of guidance.

I was reliably informed that a recent visiting management team were less than impressed with the conduct of ours during/after the game. Maybe that was a trigger for this, who knows ?
Nuneaton Borough FC is dead—Killed by incompetence.

Thank you, Vernon. Makes sense to me now. Cant really comment on Away games although everyone seemed well behaved at Lutterworth.
Many home visitors have given it out as good as we have. Perhaps it was at one of the few home games I've missed this season?

I posted a reminder on social media and on the website (see news stories) earlier this week.

Thank you Mark.
I am up to speed now.
Except I can't remember who won the US Election. Pod will tell me it was Abraham Lincoln.
