Attendances

The recent two holiday games,Griff and Lutterworth, has highlighted the real big problem to the fledgling club of playing out of town. 1200 in Nuneaton to watch Boro/Town and less than half that to watch Boro/Town at home in Bedworth. I don’t think for one moment that the extras at The Pingles were Griff fans but simply Boro/Town fans that will not go out of their town.
I think that if some of them simply bite the bullet, lower their opposition and come over and give the players and management their support then the sooner we can reach the dream of returning. To add: Of course, the date of this is beyond anyone’s control.
Just my thoughts on the matter, reflecting on a job well done to date and to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
Nuneaton Borough FC is dead—Killed by incompetence.

Enjoy the games at the Oval far more than recent seasons at LW, anyone who hasn't been to a game there yet should give it a try, I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed

1. Yes. Me too.
2. Yes they should. I think (most) might enjoy it.
3. Means to an end, anyway.

Spot on, Vernon. Boycotting, avoiding or just C*** B* A*sed is cutting one's nose off etc, in that it delays the return of BoroTown to NUNEATON. The quicker we get over the shock of last season and put money through the turnstiles, the quicker we can get back.
Especially given that Beduff have made us very welcome, there are good transport links and a half decent pub nearby. I noted on Saturday that some Boro youngsters are even cycling in! (Bikes secured securely inside the ground). It's no real hardship getting there, if one is brutally honest. It ain't The CABE or even The Biscuit Tin..but it's endurable. For now.
One further consideration for anyone delaying a return is that those running the club ( finally) seem to have an inkling of how a community based Non League Football club works.
Of course, there's always the possibility that, given the mauling the previous outfit gave to a loyal fanbase. some of those stayaways are honouring their pledges and making the split permanent.
Happy New Year to all. UTB

If someone had told me a year ago I would be keenly watching a Boro/town phoenix step 6 team in Beduff, have a season ticket and do 50/50 every match.
No way! But things change.
Loving it, thanks to all the people who made it and Bedworth United of course.
