It certainly was. A memorable cameo from a real talent. Other teams in our league breathe a sigh of relief.

I’m sorry but one player doesn’t determine our season the squad we have got is good enough to get over the line if we don’t go up cos we miss Sahel yessen it will be our own fault so move on big game vs Kirby muxloe on Saturday

Bit snappy?

In peace, TBH I don't see any suggestion that "one player doesn't determine our season."
I only see a brief discussion of a very useful but temporary addition to a squad who have already proved their worth anyway via their sustained league position. that is..at the top.
Forum. The clue is in the word.
Yes I'll be there on Saturday, whether they sign Mo Salah tomorrow or use a combination of those players who got us there.

a neutrals view from a non attendee.
P 28 ie exactly 2/3 rds of the season
scored 75 ie. which means YOU have to score THREE to stand a chance of beating the *Boro
the bad news WE have conceded LESS than ONE goal per game ie. 23
now from where im sitting WE... the Boro that is will have to throw the league away
(not saying they will or wont) .... but looking at the stats with 14 games to go i know where my money would be.
nothing is ever certain especially when it comes to football
to coin a old saying its never over till it is.
where wud you put your Fiver ;-)
* always will be the Boro to me
never called them the town in my life
ta ra.

"Neutral"

Lol
If only it was that easy to exorcise all those memories. ( The good ones). But of course...it ain't.
I'm sure your calculations are right, but as we both, know, whenever Boro' fans see light at the end of any tunnel...well you know the rest. I'm sure Snappy was just advocating a bit of calm down before tomorrow's game, really. it's easy to get carried away and euphoric when you are top of the er..Midland League Division One
Last time I counted any chickens the total came to thirteen. And it turned out..they were vultures and not chickens at all.
There is now quite a bit of newish Town merchandise on view but like yourself it's Boro to me. I'm just being a bit flippant when I refer to BoroTown. I've not heard anything but Boro chants yet home or away. And I always wear my Boro scarf and hat to Oval games as I'm too much of a tightarse to replace them until they fall to bits.

nothing is ever certain till you are over the line
if i said i was neutral i would be lying.
occasionally its good to put your head above the para pit.
beats being wise after the event
we can all be experts on where and how it went wrong
im sure if im right there will be no further mention of the above
if im wrong im certain i will be reminded by more than one observer more than once.
will it bother me ? . . . er no. :-)

Yessen was class

With youth on his side too, but realistically we had/have zero chance of holding onto him long or even mid term. We will judge the Night Gardener on performance.
Danico Johnson is a deceptive player. Doesn't quite look the business immediately , but his footwork is at times positively dainty. Many opposing defences have come to regret underestimating his ability.
Books, covers, judgements etc. I've been quite impressed by the players the current set up have recruited so far.
