Will we top the ton against Sutton?

98 goals now in the For column.
That would be some achievement.
Hope to be there to see it.

Very similar game to the Coton match . Cradley started off all guns blazing and unlike Coton got their early goal thanks to a very rare defensive error from Carsley . After that Boro struggled to impose themselves on a highly fired up home team .
Second half we again came out and put them under non stop pressure and like Coton they eventually cracked .
Too go to two places like Coton and Cradley and play two very tough matches on difficult pitches in four days and come away with all the points is some effort .
A word for another of our unsung heroes Recchi . Not only did he keep his cool to score two penalties within a few minutes but also never put a foot wrong defensively against a side who score a lot of goals . Rock solid .

Got to be one of the worst grounds iv ever been to .... still this is the level we're at.
Fans moaning first half at the players when they could hardly stand up never mind pass the ball.....
Second half we came out with the bit between our teeth, pressed high and got the result......
One of them games on a shit very waterlogged pitch that could of gone either way ...
Another 3 points ...onwards and upwards

One of the most impressive aspects of this season is that everyone just seems to have got on with things and accepted what we face.
A bit of sneering at Coton Green aside which was soon then corrected by other supporters.
It’s been a really well organised effort by everyone involved to look at what we have to do and then do it!
Credit to NUNEATON!

Remarkable that remarks about a shit pitch are ok ( they are too, in my book), but remarks about attendances are (still) deemed sneering.
FFS let it GO now, EH?
Or come over and say hello on Saturday and we'll have a beer together.

Talking of keeping cool, did anyone else witness the altercation that their sent off Jack Till had in front of the dressing room with a couple of home fans ? Something was said to him as he passed them and he exploded and tried to attack them but was pulled back by others and ushered into the dressing room.
The King is dead. Long live The King.

And thank you AA2, Pod and a few others for reminding us about the basics.
Among all the hot air and opinionated guff which (sigh!) we read elsewhere , you continue to keep us informed about the more immediate pressing news. The exploits of one of the better squads (and one of the more grounded back room teams), to have represented NUNEATON (lol) over the last few seasons.
This is especially welcome when other commitments stop us from attending.
