Scored six but Sutton made us look as poor at the back as any team has done this season, it was like our midfield and defenders had forgotten how to tackle, good win in spite of that

I would agree with that but give them the consideration that last weeks’ battle against Cradley may have had a physical cost. Today, switched off a little but switched on when it mattered, and thumped a pretty decent Sutton side. The Boro deserved a bit of relaxation today.
As one door closes, another one opens.

Top post Vernon
We score goals and a lot of them despite not really having an out and out goalscorer . Thought first twenty mins yesterday we were great but after that it went a bit ropey but we just keep scoring and not for the first time this season we've thrashed a decent looking side despite not being at our best . They say top teams find a way to win even when not at their best , we seem to be able to hammer teams when not at our best .

And I was there to see it. APB for me.
Two crackers from Williams and Marsden with a few slightly silly ones also in the mix.
There were a few defensive errors made by us, certainly, but sloppy? Not so sure. Careless? Maybe.
Sutton were plucky, well up for it, not without talent and (once again) they were a lot better when they concentrated on the game rather than arguing with the officials.
A few perfectionists may grumble about some of our goals for being "lucky" but I'm not sure I agree with that ,either. Quite a few of us Old Boys are united in a belief that this particular Boro side fight and chase and compete like most recent ones haven't. So inevitably-they are going to panic the opposition into making errors.
Onward and upward.

Did we imagine that?
I'm a little concerned that today's result and our League table changes are still not showing on the Midland League website.
Did something happen between me leaving the Oval and getting home?
Edit: It's not recorded on the FA website either. And it's 10.33pm.
So this was just another dream.
Damn.

Having just watched Russell's interview on You Tube I knew I hadn't imagined it!
Just a bit concerned that if we don't get our results in on time we might get fined or docked points.
You never know...

Both teams need to record the result before it registers on the FA Full time System Also if Two different scores get entered the Second result overrides the First result.

I was being slightly ironic. Given how well the club is run at present I knew it wouldn't be our fault.
I'm sure the FA and ML got a few remarks about not including the result until today!

Some classics and some howlers in that collection!
Must admit I high fived Juzzer for that one. Still a class act. He meant to do it. That was the thing.
Did not really understand the og on Saturday. Still don't really get it now. Poor bloke. Rush of blood to the head? Intended for the goalie perhaps? But chesting it into your own net? Oh dear.
Thanks to the crew who keep providing these clips. Recording an epic season in the history of the club(s)
