I see on league website the score is listed as 3-2. Don’t remember their goals. Perhaps they scored twice after we had all gone home.
A good workman like performance by Boro. Did enough to win the match which is all that matters.

The error on Full Time has now been corrected. Not our error by the way :)

We know it's not our lines of communication slowing things down. And I recall previously that they did not put our weekend result up, or the amended league table ,for a day or two afterwards at least.
In their defence, I guess like many websites it is staffed by volunteers. Bit of a mystery why it has happened to us twice though...

Stapenhill made us play ,kept at it, kept us busy and chased everything. I find it odd they are so low in the table. One of the better sides I've seen this season.
Decent officials-I especially like the lino juggling the ball before placing it for our late corner!
Also liked the look of our "new" keeper-nice to have the occasional clean sheet.
One more push...

It must be quite a culture shock for them having us among them.

Unless my maths is wrong if we win next Saturday & Heather lose well be champions .
Both sides have trickey games at Kirby Muxloe ( challenging for the playoffs ) & Ingles .

Next two games are tricky looking . Kirby have found some form and are trying to make the playoffs . St Andrews have brought in a number of players who have loads of experience higher up and are flying .
Of course we are also flying but i don't want to suddenly need two wins from our last two games .

of course nothing is certain until it is fact
let me put it another way if you had to put say 500 quid on the outcome
where would you put it
*lets say for a return of say 550 quid on the boro at 10-1 on.
or say for a return of 4000 quid on ANO.
*just a piece of logical guesswork ref odds on my part.
ps. btw i wouldnt give you any odds on the Boro
i wud rather keep my 50 quid... not saying miracles never happen ;-) .... but

Any bookie who had seen our astonishing football, work rate and positive attitude , at any time this season.
However. This is Boro. (Town) And stuff happens to us sometimes. Minor things like points deductions, records being expunged, name changes, ground evictions etc.
Even though those running the club are now (at last) decent straightforward honest guys and gals and things look promising , it is in our nature to be cautious not to count chickens before they have come home to rest. ( Or something like that).
If we do win it, then the way in which we have gone about it will have been exemplary.
Doubt that there will be an open Top bus around the Ring Road though. :)
