Tight but Boro have had better chances, should be at least 1 up.
KM lads in the stand getting far to excited.

Fabulous result. Tremendous effort by everyone at the Town/Boro. A truly historic moment. Every player has become a legend this season.

To right! I got quite excited when Mr Reliable Trev Edwards broke into the KM penalty area but the ball didn't quite run to him.
Would love to see him score.

Same again next season? Fingers crossed!
Liked the look of their number 9 today, very tidy player - would be a great addition for next season

Well done to all concerned. Players, officials volunteers and supporters. Been a great season. Let’s go out and win the last 3 games of the season and finish on a real high. Be interesting to see who wins the playoffs.

What a way to clinch the title . Typical of so many boro performances this season . Weather the early storm than impose ourselves more & more as the game progresses . Yet another top performance in a season of top performances all played in the most horrendous of weather .
Incredible crowd over 800 according to Kirby's twitter .

Agreed. Fully deserved today. I was worried that we might sit back after taking the lead but those days are gone!
Congratulations to all involved.

I would just like to say a well done to everybody who has stuck with this wonderful club of ours since are latest reform .The Players, Management and Backroom Staff and Volunteers. Today the team were awesome and the result never in doubt.
What has been achieved thus far from nothing is quite remarkable, please everbody take a bow. I have enyoyed every minute of the football played as well.
My love for this club and the way it is being run now just grows and grows and fills me with such pride for the first time in a long while and I have supported for 50 years now.

Well said. From nothing to this is nothing short of brilliant and emphasises what can be done when approached to a proper manner. But,one last question, does anyone know of a red star remover ? Asking for a mate.

Wonderful ,wonderful Day

Friendly stewards. Lots of old Boro faces.
We are up before April. Quality performance. Well done to staff and players.
Exquisite Bacon Batch.
Soaked (literally) through to the skin second half . So wet I could not text scoreflashes to absent Boro fans because my phone and glasses were completely drenched, Consolation being Danico and the Managers son sheltering under my brolly. under my brolly.
Pity about Rentacrowd making absolute twats of themselves with the flares and fights, but it did not spoil the day.
Joyous scenes at the end. It's been a while. Bloke next to me in tears.
Love Mark's flag.
Still buzzing

Please forgive the sentimentallity of this post, but I wish CockandBear Snr was here to witness the turnaround of the club he genuinely cared so much for. Quite sure he is watching from afar.
Well done to everyone involved. Onwards and upwards.

An attendance of that size is way beyond what was envisaged when the season started. It just shows what can happen with a successful, settled and committed group of players, who the supporters can identify with.

Never before have I seen a hundred local lads off their faces on something they were taking in the bogs before and during the match.
Then one of the KM players jumped over the fence to break up a fight they were having between themslves and got booked for his trouble.
Then I've never been so soaked at a game, my jeans are still wet but I'm not taking them off.

Notorious Baby Squad
Views: 684
( Foxes Youth Wing) You could tell by their songs ( "We Hate Forest, We Hate Derby and who the fuck are Coventry?")
I got threatened by a couple after the final whistle. They tried to infiltrate the Boro fans celebrating. Totally out of it. Glazed eyes hoarse voices. Wonder what mummy and daddy would make of their little treasures high on dodgy gear trying to pick a fight with a Senior Citizen?
"Nuneaton are fucking shit mate!"
" Are they really?"
" What? Do you want a go then?"
" No. Do you want this umbrella where it hurts?"
" Up my arse? You old paedo. Do you want a smack?"
" No such luck for you sonny. Leave me alone or you might lose an eye."
To be fair they went off to have a go elsewhere.

Nasty bunch indeed abusing boro fans of all ages and trying to pick fights with OAPS. Stewarding from Kirby Muxloe was pathetic in fact was there any, only our stewards who was in charge of our supporters. No police insight, which surprised me after the brawl in the stand. Think there was about 150 to 200 kirby locals out to cause trouble.

I wouldn't be too harsh on Kirby . They normally get around 100 then there suddenly dealing with 850 including a large group clearly there for trouble on a ground that isn't really set up for this type of game . I wouldn't fancy being a club official going in amongst that lot even with a high viz on .

In defence of KM (2)

I agree. The steward guy I met beforehand in their car park, the staff on the turnstile and the folk manning the catering stalls were all really pleasant to me. The car park guy had a Boro connection: he had coached at Junior level and showed me pictures of a match he had once sponsored at MP. The prime difference was that they were all adults of voting age and weren't coked up.
I suspect that KM probably made a serious planning error in inviting the youngsters along to bolster "home" support. All that did was wind the Boro players up. Some I would guess were Youth or Juniors with a club connection. Some I believe brought their mates along. The two teens who accosted me after the game did not know where they were. They just wanted a bit of a ruck.
I saw the hooligans (for that is what they were) gathering along Main Street as I drove to the ground. (Lord forgive me) I wrongly assumed that they were Boro fans. I thought it was odd at the time though, because I did not recognise any of them. It wasn't until I heard them singing abusive songs in their little stand , about Forest, Derby, Cov , Nuneaton and Warwickshire that I realised it was unmistakeably an organised, co-ordinated group. I've seen those flags and the blue flares before. At Foxes games. They were singing the "We're the Left Side/Right side" anthem that Spurs fans sing at home. They did not pick that up at Coton or Cradley. They were mimicking what they had heard on tour with the Baby Squad.
My grandson plays in a league where KM have a team. They are not one of the most popular visitors. There is an air of entitlement about some of them. Their touchline manners are not among the best in that league.
I felt sorry for KM. Looking at the Vlog again, I think they probably regret allowing that crowd in. The fact that the club overall did not fully grasp the significance of the fixture situation beforehand is clear from the fact that they lost a lot of potential revenue by not issuing a programme. They would have sold a lot I reckon.
I also feel sorry for their booked player. He seemed to act on instinct. There was a real chance of the game being abandoned at that stage and footage clearly shows he was trying to defuse the situation. I hope gets the card rescinded but I doubt he will. Leaving the field without the ref's permission is technically a serious offence.

Yes I'm sure they did. But programme would have made them a lot more.
KM is a big set up running dozens of teams. As I said-I know of them. My first trip there although eldest grandson has played there a few times.
