Atack pro Chris Wakelin is on the verge of knocking out former world champion Neil Robertson in the first round of this years world snooker championship.

He needs one frame more to go through. It would be the first crucible win of his career

He’s from Rugby but he does practice at the Atack. As does Mark Selby.

But im sure he wouldn’t refer to Nuneaton as Treacle Town. so we can claim him!

Will be a fantastic victory if he can pull it off. It’s very tight!

Was glad to see him hold on, although I really enjoy watching Robertson play.

Surprised to see Barry ‘quarter finalist’ Hawkins go out in the first round on the other table too.

I have a feeling we will see a Chinese winner

The Chineses mafia will dictate when each Chinese player loses.

Note to self, 'be careful what you wish for'

I thought he played excellently and the commentators were harsh implying luck.

Good to see him interviewed after!

For another useless fact

Mark Selbys first round match is against Ben Woollaston, whose wife is one of the referees at the tournament (Tatiana).
