Harborough Town

Thats a big suprise and a massive loss to Barwell. Stats (and when I have seen him play) shows how important he is to that club.
Harborogh have also signed Danny Newton & George Carline from Brackley.
I know (a little) about Harborough and very surprised.

Not really a surprise they have thrown money at it recently . They have gone from the UCL ( same level as boro next season) to the Southern Premier play offs in three seasons . Had players like Ben Stephens , Liam Dolman & Josh Tomlinson playing for them last season , all would be big wage earners so i'm sure that will also apply to the rest of the squad .

I was told a few years ago, (from a very reliable source) that Harborough were hamstrung by their constitution/rules/charter.
This was about the time they got into level 8 and had ambitions for higher.
The financial model seemed pretty much similar to what Boro' have now.
Players also had to live 'x' miles from the club.
Seems they have managed to get round this (or perhaps changed the rules).
