I believe Danico played for Trooper FC in the Final of the FA Sunday Cup in 2023/2024.

They beat Home Bargains FC to win the Trophy & I'm sure Danico scored the winning goal?

Trooper FC play in the Tamworth & District Sunday League which is a very good league.

They also run two Veterans sides for the Over-35's & the Over-45's.

Inevitable. But a step down methinks? ( " Bus stop in Walsall")

Thanks for the memories, big fella.

Onwards and upwards.

Yes, I realise that it is technically a step up. ( I do follow the Non-League Scene).

However, with the very greatest of respect, I do not think that Danico will play in front of crowds like he did last season at Shifnal. And although some insist that we are now a different club, there is so much more history attached to a Senior club representing Nuneaton than there is with Shifnal.

I doubt Gareth Southgate will ever forget his visit to Manor Park. (For example)

The You Tube interviews with our summer recruits tend to suggest that they feel they are coming to a "bigger" club.

I'll get abuse from certain quarters if I continue with this, so I'll just leave it there.

Danico ( Shifnal ) is the only regular first teamer to go . Baker ( concentrating on his job ) would be if not for his availability . Then there's three young squad members Lamb ( Sutton Utd ) , Thorpe ( Smethwick ) & Josh Whitehouse .

We've brought in six the other way but five of those are rated players at the level we were at , so the squad though only slightly bigger in terms of size looks to have more quality . There's usually a few trialists as well .
