You know how no-one in Nuneaton follows Boro

Well I was having brekkie in The Felix this morning and across from us a couple of young ladies were having a very detailed conversation about our opponents this season. They knew more teams than I did and they knew where they played, too!
They mentioned us playing Yaxley at Beduff. Which is on MONDAY

Boro are in the United Counties League premier South that is a Step 5 league. If we get promoted we will be in the Northern Premier Division 1 Midlands which is a step 4 league with clubs such as Bedworth Coventry Sphinx, Lichfield among others. If and when we go up again we will be in the Southern League Premier Central (Step 3) the league we were in when we collapsed in 2023.
Hope gives you an insight into where Boro now stand.

ah cheers, think im right in saying then that if we get promoted this season
we will be in the league that we would have been in if relegated by results prior.
if that makes sense. so with Bedworth being in it there are no ground issues correct ?
now preempting then the oval is capable of staging SL football ?
because if it is knowing that is a massive plus for us. correct?

The Oval has a ground-grading for Level 8/Step 4, as confirmed recently on here by Mark Grimes.
He also said that there might be some improvements but nothing major, to achieve a Level 7/Step 3 ground-grading.
Level 7/Step 3 requires segregation to be in place, when needed.
That will require two separate entrances to be in use, the entrance off the main road & the entrance within the Miners Welfare Park.
Also, there needs to be facilities available in the segregated area, all as detailed in the FA's ground-grading regulations.
Edit:
Any work required to achieve a Level 7/Step 3 will become apparent when an application is made to the FA for a grading.

So we have a HOME game THIS Monday

In case anyone has missed that. As some of the other threads are a bit long.
Not of interest to a few Forum contributors I know, but a few of us might be there.
